Where ReactorCX is built differently

Antavo is genuinely good at putting program logic in marketing's hands. These are the three places the architecture diverges once a program has to hold up as a financial record.

Program flow diagram: 22.7K members enter at Program Entry and pass through Init Program, which initializes member context and defaults, then Load Member Data, which fetches profile, tier, balances and status. Partner Activity Check asks whether the member completed partner activity: 4.2K yes, 18.5K no. Personalization Rules tailors the experience by member segment: 3.2K yes, 19.5K no.Each stage is a versioned, audited platform object. The branch counts are the members the rule matched at that step. Program logic that runs inside the engine

The rule a program needs in year three is rarely the one it configured in year one. ReactorCX puts four extension points in the rule engine itself: inline custom actions, reusable user-defined functions, an org-level function library, and custom JavaScript on any expression field. Each is a versioned, audited platform object that moves between environments with the rest of the configuration.

Custom logic runs as versioned, audited platform objects. Rule simulation preview: a buy-2-get-the-cheaper-one 50 percent off rule read back in plain language, applied to a sample basket that qualifies, showing an $8.99 subtotal, a $1.75 discount, and a $7.24 total.

Rules drafted in plain language, tested before launch

Marketing describes the rule in plain language and ReactorCX drafts it: the eligibility logic, the earn expression, the exclusions. The team reviews, then simulates the rule against real member history to see exactly who qualifies before anything goes live. Assisted driving, not self-driving: the platform drafts and recommends, the marketer approves.

Any rule can run against real member history before launch. Point Liability dashboard: 2.6 million dollars in outstanding points, down 0.6%, with a declining trend line from $3.0M to $2.0M. Program Health: enrollment growth 7.9% versus a 5% target, above target, healthy.

A migration that keeps every balance

Replatforming fails when balances and tier status have to be rebuilt by hand. SafeSwitch™ runs ReactorCX in parallel production beside the platform you run today, validating every event and reconciling the two systems until they agree. Routing flips only once parity holds, with rollback in place. More than 700 million member records moved to date at a 100% success rate, and every ReactorCX migration has run with zero downtime.

Cutover happens after the systems reconcile.

Loyalty Methods vs Antavo FAQs

How do we migrate from Antavo to ReactorCX?

SafeSwitch™ runs ReactorCX in parallel with your current platform, forwards production traffic to both, and compares the results transaction by transaction. Rule audits and performance tests run before any member sees the new system. Routing flips once the two systems agree, with rollback paths kept open. ThreadSync™ organizes the build as parallel workstreams, so the program is running in shadow long before cutover.

What happens to member point balances and tier status during a migration?

Migration is judged against full production parity rather than a one-time file import. The new platform processes the same qualifying transactions as the old one, in shadow, so balances, tier status, and member state reconcile between systems before any member moves.

Can several brands share one member balance and settle between partners?

Yes. ReactorCX runs point purses per brand as sub-balances inside one member wallet, resolves mixed baskets at the line item, and produces partner billing and settlement outputs with transaction-level exports. Gap Inc. runs Encore across Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta on this model, with each brand keeping its own earning rules and books.

Can we run promotions for shoppers who are not loyalty members?

Yes. The same engine that prices a member's basket prices the whole customer base at the point of sale, account or no account. Amount off, percent off, buy one get one, mix and match, and combo deals resolve at the line item without a separate discounting system, and a shopper who enrolls later carries pre-enrollment activity into the member record.

Do you integrate with our commerce stack (POS, ecommerce, CRM, data warehouse)?

ReactorCX is headless, API-first, and event-driven, built to integrate into an existing enterprise stack rather than replace it. Loyalty activity flows through APIs and event streams, so POS, ecommerce, CRM, and data platforms consume the same events the loyalty engine acts on.

What does Loyalty Methods do differently than Antavo?

Antavo is built so a marketer can configure a program without engineering, and that is a real strength. Loyalty Methods builds ReactorCX as the ledger of record and treats code as capability: plain-language authoring and visual builders handle the common cases, and the full rule surface stays open underneath, with custom logic running inside the same engine that computes every accrual. One member record across brands, partner settlement, and liability reporting sit in that engine, and promotions run on the same data.
